Shed Blend | Herbal Tea for the Menstrual Phase

Root Blend | Herbal Tea for the Pre-Menstrual Phase
Somewhere between the last day of your period and the middle of your cycle, something turns. Estrogen climbs. Your energy comes back. Ideas that were paused start to mak sense again.
This blend is made for that period. With only four ingredients, chosen for what they have offered women's rising energy in Ayurvedic tradition for centuries.
The follicular phase begins the day after your period ends, and runs through ovulation. In most women, that's roughly days 6 to 16. It is the rising, outward, estrogen-led arc of your cycle. The season, if you like, of your inner spring.
Your body is changing during these days in ways you can feel. Sharper thinking. Skin that seems to hold more light. The urge to plan, to move, to say yes to the thing you almost said no to. The Bloom blend will support this energy.
Nelli is also known as amla, or Indian gooseberry. Honoured in ancient Ayurvedic texts as Pancharasa, the fruit of five tastes, representing the perfect balance of sweet, sour, bitter, pungent, and astringent. Deeply mineral-rich and gently steadying.
Rasakinda is known in Sri Lanka as Amurtha, the gentle nectar of renewal. A revered Ayurvedic herb used for centuries to restore vitality and support the body through periods of rising energy.
Ashwagandha is the root that means "the smell of a horse" in Sanskrit. Included to nourish the body and support hormonal harmony through the follicular phase.
Ginger as a primary ingredient in the blend. Warm, circulating, gently stimulating. The heat that ties everything together.
In the mornings of your follicular phase, roughly days 6 to 13 of your cycle. When you feel yourself waking up more easily than you did last week.
Around ovulation, when your energy is at its clearest. Bloom serves this phase too, because ovulation shares the same rising, outward rhythm as the follicular days.
Before a creative morning, or a long walk, or a day you want to be present for.
On any day you feel yourself rising, whether or not you cycle-track. Your body will tell you when.
Is it caffeine free? Yes. Naturally caffeine free. The rise you feel is your body's own, gently supported.
Can I drink it during pregnancy? Please consult your healthcare provider before adding new herbal teas during pregnancy. Ashwagandha is one of the ingredients in this blend and is generally best avoided in pregnancy.
Is it safe to drink daily? Yes, for most people. A cup a day during your rising phase is a lovely daily ritual.
Do I have to cycle-track to use it? No. Your body will tell you when. If you want a rough guide, reach for it in the two weeks after your period ends.
Where is it made? Formulated and blended in Sri Lanka by VEDDA. Shipped from the Netherlands.
How long does one pouch last? Around 15 to 20 cups, depending on how you brew.

For what comes back to you with the rise
Ayurveda stands for taking care of yourself. Ayurveda translates from Sanskrit as the"science of life"or"knowledge of longevity." The female cycle contains processes that happen naturally in your body and that you can support. Flow with it, don't fight it. The follicular and ovulation phase is when your energy is rising again.

A ritual for saying yes
Sometimes the difference between saying yes and saying no is the ten minutes you took to sit with a warm cup first. Make the time to listen to yourself. What do you want to say yes to?
