Bloom Blend | Herbal Tea for the Follicular & Ovulatory Phases
Somewhere after ovulation, the light in your day changes. Your energy withdraws. What felt manageable last week feels like too much. The noise of the world starts feeling closer than it should.
The Root blend is here to support this phase. This cup works to calm excess heat in the body and mind, ease tension and mood swings and nourish you from within. The intention of the blend is to help the days before your period feel lighter and your evenings feel peaceful and steady.
The luteal phase begins after ovulation and runs until the first day of your next period. In most women, that's roughly days 17 to 28. The autumn of your cycle.
For the first stretch you may feel your most focused, your most yourself. Toward the end things soften. Progesterone drops. The world gets louder. The tears come more easily. The tolerance for people who take up more space than they earn goes quiet and then goes away.
None of this is a problem. All of it is on time.
This tea is made for the days you want the volume down. It helps you feel lighter, nourished and helps your body to cool down during this intense phase.
Nelli is also known as amla, or Indian gooseberry. Honoured in ancient Ayurvedic texts as Pancharasa, the fruit of five tastes, representing the perfect balance of sweet, sour, bitter, pungent, and astringent. Deeply mineral-rich and gently steadying.
Rasakinda is known in Sri Lanka as Amurtha, the gentle nectar of renewal. A revered Ayurvedic herb used for centuries to restore vitality and support the body through periods of rising energy.
Ashwagandha is the root that means "the smell of a horse" in Sanskrit. Included to nourish the body and support hormonal harmony through the follicular phase.
Ginger as a primary ingredient in the blend. Warm, circulating, gently stimulating. The heat that ties everything together.
In the evenings of your luteal phase, especially in the last week before your period. The tea is a soft way to close a day.
In the mornings that already feel heavier than they should, when you know you will need extra care to move through the day gently.
Before bed on nights that feel too full, when your body is still processing the day and you would like to help it slow.
Anytime you feel the world getting closer, whether or not you cycle-track. Your body will tell you.
Is it caffeine free? Yes. Naturally caffeine free. Suitable to drink from morning to evening, especially lovely before bed.
Can I drink it during pregnancy? Please consult your healthcare provider before adding new herbal teas during pregnancy.
Is it safe to drink daily? Yes, for most people. A cup a day in the second half of your cycle is a beautiful ritual. If you want to drink it beyond that, it is also a lovely evening tea.
Do I have to cycle-track to use it? No. Your body will tell you. If you want a rough guide, reach for Root in the two weeks before your period arrives.
Where is it made? Formulated and blended in Sri Lanka by VEDDA. Packaged in the Netherlands and shipped across Europe from our fulfillment partner.
How long does one pouch last? Around 15 to 20 cups, depending on how you brew.

Ayurveda stands for taking care of yourself. Ayurveda translates from Sanskrit as the"science of life"or"knowledge of longevity." The female cycle contains processes that happen naturally in your body and that you can support. Flow with it, don't fight it. The pre-menstruation phase

Bring softness in the discerning days
The second half of your cycle brings a specific kind of clarity. You see more. You feel more. You are less patient with what isn't real. This tea is a small ritual for the days that clarity feels heavier than usual.

Grounding when you feel far from ground
The last few days before your period can feel like standing on ice. Root is a plant-based version of putting your feet back on soil.

A signal to your nervous system
Ten warm minutes, both hands on a cup, no screen, no scroll, no ask. The nervous system reads that as safety. Whatever you drink is almost secondary.
